Being CPR and First Aid certified helps me be prepared for various situations. I have been taught to give CPR and first aid treatment. These courses give different scenarios and in order to get certified, you must show the skills you have learned. It is not given by a simple test.

Georgia Best is a program that teaches students soft skills and work ethic. It is a requirement for students in any career-related course to finish. I have been able to finish all the stages of Georgia Best since I have been in a healthcare class every year and now I am in Work-Based Learning.

This award is given to a student chosen by their career-related course teacher. I received this award in my junior and senior year. My healthcare teacher chose me during my junior year and my work-based learning teacher chose me my senior year. I felt proud of myself for being able to earn this award twice for two different classes. I felt as if I truly earned it.
