Extracurricular Activities

School involvement

Tennis has become a hobby of mine since junior year. I've really enjoyed joining this team and learning a new sport. It was a new way to relax and gave me a break from school.

I have been involved with Future Health Professionals (HOSA) all 4 years of high school. It has become a very big part of my high school career. I was the reporter during my junior year and currently I am the vice president. It has become the most important club to me because it was helped guide me into the professional/business side of the world.

I have been in Beta Club since my sophomore year of high school. This club helped me get more involved with the community and my school. It allowed me to make more friends and learned about all the opportunities for community service. This year I am in charge of Public Relations.

I joined National Honor Society (NHS) during my junior year. This club felt like a reward for all my accomplishments throughout high school. This club started back up during my junior year and the organizer selected certain students based on their grade-point average and grades.

I joined Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS) during my junior year and loved it. It taught me more about the Hispanic history and culture. This club brought me closer to the Hispanic community at my school.

I joined Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at the beginning of my senior year because I realized that I wanted to learn more about the business field, specifically computer science.
